Snapchat, Instagram ,Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, the list goes on. Everywhere you turn there is a site that could be used to build or boost your brand. Each site serves a purpose, but does that purpose serve you?

It’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of social media. The different platforms can be beneficial in helping you to reach different types of demographics and build a bigger supporter base or clientele. How do you have time for it all? When you have multiple platforms going you run the risk of overdoing it. The goal then becomes being able to master all the different channels while giving your audience what they need. But with that, you have to build on the understanding that your audience isn’t on every channel.
Less is more, the best way to gain and maintain traction for your business is by finding your key audience ,figuring out what platform caters to them and then building from there. As much as we'd like to think its better to have multiple outreaches, your clientele will be looking for quality over quantity. One well run platform can speak volumes over multiple cluttered spaces.
Content Matters. Once you figure out who your target demographic is how you present your content is going to be the next step. When only working with one solid platform (and possibly a backup) you have more time to put out quality content. Your budget and time can go into expanding that platform. The more content you create, the more traffic you will get to that.
Flexibility. While social media is an amazing platform to use, running your business involves and requires so much more. Once you get the channel up and running and you start expanding you will have more time to do everything else that needs to be done to successfully grow and manage your business.
Social media can be helpful but you don’t need it all at once to achieve your target goal. With your creativity and content, you should be able to maintain a page that speaks for itself .
